Re: CHIP CHAT
In Response To: Re: Angel Park, NCV ()

To All,
Whenever I mention my friend, Doug Saito's magazine CHIP CHAT I end up with a half dozen emails asking me what is CHIP CHAT and how do I get a copy. O.K. here is the information you need:

Doug Saito's CHIP CHAT is published when Doug feels like publishing it <g>. It is, in my opinion, the finest chip publication on the market. It is chuck full of chip stories, chip history, chips for sale and auction chips.

You can obtain a copy by calling Doug at 619-296-3502 and leaving a message on the machine to send you one; or if you are lucky to get him on the phone you can tell him what you want personally. The issue is not free since you now must send $3.00 to receive the NEXT issue. Failure to send the $3.00 means you will not get the next issue.

The latest issue is #18. Back issues are available if one is interested. Issue number 18 features chips from the Boulder Club that was located in downtown Las Vegas. There is much history involving the Boulder Club and Doug does it justice!!

There are three Cal-Vada Lodge/Crystal Bay, Nevada chips (C-VL) one hub mold and two diamond molds at auction. A Bowery Club/Las Vegas large crown for sale and...............well get your own issue.

If you still haven't gotten a phone you can write to Doug at:
CHIP CHAT
4056 Front Street
San Diego, California 92103

Also if you happen to have a fax machine or fax modem you can use phone number 619-299-1368 and make your request in writing. Anyway, this is all the information you should need.

By the way, you might want to consider supporting Doug and his publication. Unless of course you wish to wait and see if he folds - and than you can tell everyone here on the board how you will miss his publication <g>. There is only a couple of chip publications left. I hope they BOTH can stay above water. They need OUR support people. Best, Jim
