Jim; I'm not trying to get "into it" with anyone. Perhaps I was not clear in my post. My point is that there are collectors out there with a lot of disposable income... probably more than you or I can imagine. All one has to do is sit in on the club convention auctions each year and watch the bidding go up, up, up. Sometimes I got the impression that the bidder who at the time was the highest, really didn't want the chip he was bidding four figures on..... it seemed like he simply didn't want the other bidder to get it. Jim; Not everybody can afford to collect gold. But there are a lot of gold collectors who can. If that position is similar to the one that Gene holds, then I guess I am siding with him. Everyone has to decide for themselves what they want to collect. Because you and/or I don't care for all these high denominations that are being issued, does not mean that other collectors share the same opinion. "One man's meat is another man's poison."
