Harrah's announced that they donated the Harolds Club mural to a museum/historical society in Reno, so it will be preserved.

Harrah's also said they are considering alternatives for the property, but decided to create that "plaza" area for the time being. Their development alternatives are pending the decision to move the railroad tracks below ground.

It is sad to see it go, however. The first casino I ever placed a bet ($2 on blackjack) was Harolds Club.
