I was 9-years-old when I first walked into Harolds
Club with my mother. Since, I've been to hundreds
and hundreds of casinos in cities that I can't even
remember...and not a one of them has made an
impression on me as did Harolds Club and Reno. It
was also the first time I was introduced to Frank
Sinatra at the Riverside, and the year I fell in
love with Ava Gardner when my mother and aunt pointed
her out to me in the post office; July, '51. Some
things never go away.
