Rich; I used to have an old silver dollar with a round red sticker affixed from Lady Luck.... with a price of $3.50. I'm told that when the price of silver began rising in the early 1960's when the official price of silver was pegged at $1.29 per ounce.... there was more than $1 worth of silver in each coin, which encouraged players, collectors and hoarders to take the coins back home with them from their trips to Vegas by the bagfull. The casino's I'm told were selling the coins in their gift shops at these markups, which undoubtedly is the story behind the silver dollar I've just described. Unfortunately, I can't locate it right now. When/if I do, I will post a scan.
