As most of you know I do not collect these pogs. In the past it was argued these "things" brought new people into our hobby - maybe, maybe not. I do know this; many people cannot afford to collect the vast number of new chips being issued by the chip factories, like the Trop and others in our town.

Mark my words. When people like Janice O'Neal cannot afford to collect the new issues, the budget required being $500.00 to $600.00 a month. The hobby and collectors will suffer.

Who in the hell needs a Grand Opening chip for a pizza parlor within a casino???? Don't you think enough is enough???

I realize it may have been a good thing - but it is being carried too far!!! Too many chips in too short a time.... If they (the casinos) don't back off they will, in my opinion, kill the goose that lays the golden egg. Collectors just can't afford the outlay required to stay current. This bull about collect just some of them; or just from certain casinos does not take into consideration - the collector mentality.

Just my thoughts. Do not mean to get Trimble all upset or anyone else. A GO chip for a pizza parlor. You got to be kidding!!!!!
