To respond to the two posts above:
# I made the initial post mainly to entertain the BB crowd. I thought it was amusing that 20th century chips with the diamond mold could be attributed to the days of the Gunfight at the OK Corral!
# I don't know where the chips came from. The middle one could be generic.
# Ignorance of the law is no defense, generally. I realize the dealer could be completely sincere, but false advertising is false and should be called to task, corrected and prevented.
# A very important point, I think, is that just because a false auction begins with no reserve and a low opening bid, that does not absolve it. To me, it does not matter what the opening bid is. It is just as dangerous as one with high opening bids/reserves. Both auctions could go to the heights.
