I could understand, and agree (and will also question), if within a week's time something like this would happen with a chip in the $1000 range...BUT, you're post was regarding the Joe's chips which are nowhere near $1000 each. <g>
Now, let's agree with your general thinking for a moment or two while I set a similar example. Would a dealer who sells a newly-found (or otherwise) scarce or rare chip expect the buyer to come back to him offering the difference if the quantity availible would dry up and now the bid for that chip is $2000? Or, (I'm only playing with actual facts, here - actual recorded chip transactions) if that same chip is bid at $3000 would the seller expect to be compensated from those who purchased previously?
