It Pays to Search All the Auction Sites

I just received a Silver Strike token I won at auction in the mail today.

The token wasn't on E-Bay or Amazon. It was deeply hidden on YAHOO. I used all of my normal search words that I use on E-Bay and found it on my last hit. I for one can say I don't like the search engine for finding lots on Yahoo, as it just brings up loads of stuff that don't even have the search words in the titles.

The token I won which will be priced at $500.00 in my next Silver Strike guide is the one pictured here below.

The winning price was $24.50 + $3.50 for postage.

Here's the seller's inaccurate discription:
>>>THIS IS ONE TROY OUNCE OF SILVER THIS TOKEN IS FROM THE FLAMINGO HILTON IN LAS VEGAS FEATUREING THE ROCKETTES ONONE SIDE AND THE HOTEL ON THE OTHER SIDE THIS HAS BEEN IN A CASE SINCE I PURCHASED THIS.>>>

As we all know that the token is NOT one troy ounce of silver. Also, the token that I received was in a holder that was not the NORMAL holder for the $10 silver strikes, as it was an oversized holder. However the token is in perfect condition.

Again it's still a world where both the buyer and seller should be informed. In this case the Seller just wanted to get rid of the piece and is quite happy at what it sold for as they have no interest in this type of item. They mainly sell Coca-Cola items. Funny there were three bidders including me on the item. Appearently even the other bidders had NO idea what the token was worth.

Bottom line: It pays to look at all the online auctions.
