Received the following reply from the seller of this lot:

This evening, I sent him the following:

Mr. Passamenti ----- thank you for your response, but I notice that
you answered only one of the three questions I posed:

> 1) By whom are the 2 independent Certificates of Authenticity issued
> and what do they say?
> 2) Who has "assessed" the $1000 chip at "over $200"?
> 3) What is the Williams collection?

Would still like to have a response to the first two.

I will contact Christie's of Beverly Hills on Friday to obtain a copy of
their authentification of these chips.

Your scan is not very clear, but these chips do appear to be the same
Casino de Isthmus chips commonly advertised. If so, they do not appear
in the opening credits of the movie.

I look forward to your further response. ----- Jim Reilly

BTW, Marv, I did notice the other two eBay lots you referred to and also wrote to the seller of the two chip lot (with whom I had previous email exchange over his earlier offer of the same lot). He responded with a message that he is still waiting for further information from the person he bought the chips from. He says he will advise me when he hears from this person (which is the same thing he said the last time, about three weeks ago).

I DO intend to call Christie's of Beverly Hills. Be interesting to see what they have to say. ----- jim o\-S
