I wouldn't jump to that conclusion. I have a brown chip (hub mold) with an indentical "B" which is attributed to Chicago (place unknown). I haven't figured that one out yet.

I think chips are attributed too quickly based on the font of the lettering. Especially when the initials are 1-2 letters.
