I was at work and an older gentleman pulled up in his beatup car.
I gave him a ticket for his car and he walked into the hotel.
I grabbed the keys out of the ignition, and noticed this chip on his keychain!
He was long gone already, and I was shocked and just about shaking.
I parked his car and all over the ticket I wrote for me only to pick this car up.
I told my buddy that was working the podium about this situation. He agreed to let me be the one to get the car when he came out.
I grabbed the $1 Hacienda chip which was on my own keychain, (and let me add that I put this on my keychain just last week!)and put it in my poket with $10 bucks.
It was about 2 hours later when the gentleman came to get his car. It was perfect because we were hanging around waiting for people to come out.
I grabbed the ticket and bolted for the car.
When I came up with it, I asked the gentleman if he would be interested in trading chips. He said he didn't think so. I offered him my chip and $10. He agreed and we did the trade.
I have seen many sets of keys, but not too many with chips on them. This seems to be a case of Freak Luck!
Anyone else have a chip story of Freak Luck? I would love to hear about it!
