A friend of mine has a box at Churchill Downs for the KY. Oaks (Friday)
and Derby (Sat.) I was at the Oaks in the early 80's with Wolfman Jack
in the adjoining box. He was a regular, down to earth guy, friendly and
very polite. After giving him winners in the 2nd, 3rd & 4th, he thought
I was the greatest handicapper since Nick the Greek. Very enjoyable day.
Was sorry to hear of his death a year or two ago.
