Yup that one got my wife's and my attention! Whereas, my 4 yr. old son slept right through it...???... Must be nice to be young...
My wife has "lived" through all the major quakes in CA in the last 15 years, and still doesn't like them much. During the big quake up in Northern Ca, she was on her bike riding to a social function. It was all she could do to stay on, and she said that she could see the waves in the ground... I heard about the quake while I was at work - that is, that San Francisco was burning and San Jose was gone! Well I jumped on the phone, and all I heard was three clicks and then nothing... After about four hours she called and said that everyone at the social function was talking about the earth quake so she rode back to her dorm room, and called me... Boy was I glad that what I heard was not correct!!!
As for the one last Saturday Morning, it was an "E" ticket ride! It lasted the better part of 30 seconds... 7.0 not bad..
