Please, Janice. If you do not like a chip, do not collect it. If you do not like a casino, do not collect any of their chips. If a casino is behaving in a way that is harmful to the hobby, by all means complain. But please remember, for many new collectors, their first impressions of this hobby may come from eBay and this board. We cannot always control the world, or prevent people from selling fantasy chips, or creating fakes. We can try, and we can call attention to harmful activities when they occur.
But I'd like to know... is releasing multi-chip sets harmful? Is commemorating bullsh*t events harmful? How does a casino issuing a chip you choose not to collect harm the hobby? I see lots of chips I won't collect. I've commented on the beauty or ugliness of many chips. But I don't understand your complaint. How does yet another Four Queens chip put you "right out of collecting any kind of LE's or commemorative chips, period?"
We as an organized group should be acting in constructive ways towards this hobby. You of all people know that.
