One of the first things we did when we got our hands on a 57 Chevy was lower the rear end with lowering blocks..... today they jack 'em up so that your car slides underneath in case of a rear end collision and you wind up decapitated.. The second thing we did was remove the silly hood ornamentation and bullnose the hood. Then we put skirts on the rear fender wells and a Pointiac or Mercury grille in the front. Hot damn!
