I have just picked up an extra copy of "Phenix City, The Wickedest city in America" (Vulcan 1955) and put it up for sale on eBay.The book is very hard to find and much sought after, so it's not going to be cheap.. The book tells the story of the wide-open town and names names and locations for illegal gambling, honky tonks, etc. Even tell sthe number and types of tables games and slots in the various clubs.
