John, To tell the real truth, I & my wife were on our way to buy some furniture in the town of Sarchi. She had to make a pit stop so we stopped at the Coracibi. I can guage the number of miles I travel by a complicated formula. You mutiply the number of miles you travel by the speed of the car & then divide by the pit stops necessary & add pie R squared. Orlando is exactly 215.859 miles from my home.
BTW, when we finally made it back on the road to Sarchi, we had to take a detour because the Guardo Civil was everywhere. I thought that there was an invasion from some Caribbean country taking place. As it turns out the King & Queen of Spain were taking a shopping tour of Sarchi as well. We stopped on the side of the road & waved to Juan Carlos & his queen. They were no more than 30 feet from us. I was hoping to get them to sign some chips for Gene, but the motorcade was moving to quickly for me to catch up with their limo. I also had 2 bum hips at the time.
