Michael, I couldn't have said it better myself. I began reading this thread and was waiting for my name to come up in some fashion or another. I have said in the past that personal attacks have no place on this or any other BB & I got blasted with personal attacks citing free speech, the flag & apple pie as reasons to shoot ones mouth off. I have no idea why we need to grow the club exponentially every year. I was a happy camper when the club reached 1,229 members and will be just as happy when we reach 4,000. We are still the largest speciality club in ANA, no matter what we spend for promotions. I am nearing completion of an article that I will be submitting to Kregg for future publication in our newsletter. I will also be submitting it to some of my professional journals which may take a year or more to be published, if at all. It deals with the psychological reasons why people collect. After reading this thread, I am considering adding a section on why people post notes on bulletin boards. I may even submit this section as a seperate article to the Journal of Abnormal Psychology. I am just going to sit back & wait for the flack to start.
