The night I went to the tourney, it was still in the early stages & the evening brackets were at 8, 10 & midnight. (There were 256 entries & there were earlier brackets at 11, 1, 3 & 5.) Got there after the 8:00 bracket got started. Efren & Earl were in that bracket & it appeared that Earl would finish first so I stayed by him. Apparently, true to form by what Andy & Bob said, his game had a lot of controversy, a big crowd around it, and he lost. Earl felt he was cheated & started a big argument & scene with the refs. He was all over the place & it was difficult to follow him so I could catch him on his way out. He left pushing people out of the way & wouldn't stop to sign for anyone. While I was running around to get into position to nail Earl, Efren finished his match & left the building before I could locate him. End of story.

Gene, I read that there is a big tourney in Reno the first part of December. Maybe we can talk Larry or someone into getting Earl & Efren's autograph for us.
