Biloxi or Vegas ?

While others were having an enjoyable time in Biloxi, I have just returned this morning from five days of fun in LasVegas. Went to Newark airport last Thursday for the 7:30 AM flight, only to learn that the flight would be delayed due to an engine problem.(always nice news to hear.) Looked out terminal window and watched 4 mechanics working on the engine. Finally, we
took off nearly four hours late, but Continental is sending each of us a $300.
voucher for a future flight, so it worked out similar to a "bump".
Had dinner Thurs.night with the Hartman's who were in town for Comdex. Met Chuck Smorse at the Four Queens for some "chip chatting" and picked up quite a few pieces of clay all over town to bring back home. (no roulettes, Jim).
Was at Fiesta one day and discovered Dick Covington there. (Chippers are all
over the place!!) Was quite surprised Saturday night when I was at the Rio for a while, and bumped into Bob Stupak passing through the casino. He had a tall
blonde on his arm. I only said "hello Bob", didn't have the nerve to ask anything about he and the Horseshoe chips. Drove up to Mesquite one day for some chipping at Mesquite Star and the Oasis Old Timers chip. And, before I
forget, we stayed at the Orleans, and am happy to report that the cocktail
waitresses STILL have overflowing tip cups and all the other attributes everyone knows about. And, thanks to a "hot" craps table one night, was able to come home on the plus side of the ledger for my gaming activities.
