Pete,
Your post prompted me to waste (<g>) some time examining my James Bond chip inventory under a black light. Here are some findings:
First, let me say Paulson has been making these for some 10 years. It does not surprise me that they changed things over the years as they went along.
To the naked eye the earlier ones seem to have a lighter green to the inlays. (all of my commnets regard the inlays, by the way).
Under the black light the green print looks reddish brown in the earlier ones. The newest ones look green.
I could find the H&C symbol clearly on some of the new 500's, and then only on one side. I think I see the round end of
the cane on only a few 25's.
On the 500's I found a small H&C at the small middle star on the bottom of the inlay. On a few others I found a large H&C
in the center of the inlay. All of these were found only on the round 500 inlays.
I was told by Paulson that they are out of cog 100's.
Till yesterday I didn't know about the strange 5 and 25 shown on related posts in this thread. They must be very rare or experimental.
