Pink $5 (I know it's just the scan) and then there is a scallop $25 as well? I guess I better keep searching for the "most complete selection anywhere" of these chips. (and that was a small joke)
Here's another funny one, from an eBay ad. I attribute it to a lighter and better attitude, at least a break in the clouds?
"As many from the chip board type collecting groups can tell you, I am
VERY well known for the chips I sell. in fact, many have nothing else to do
then scan my auctions on a DAILY basis, if not MORE! As I list more and
more chip auctions, they then RUSH to the collecting groups to let ALL the
other members know JUST what type of chips I have for sale!"
And yes that is in Marks latest ad for $18,??? worth of real chips, mixed with fantasy chips. In case it saves you the looking, his claim was that over 90% of the chips are real casino chips. If you are interested in some 4 queens LEs and some $5 chips, plus a huge stack of 25c chips, this deal is for you.
I added it up from the pictures, and it includes the racks BTW, it's roughly $200 face of real chips. The 90% obviously refers to the number of chips, not the values. I came up with the $200 number by adding the values of the $5,000 and $1000 chips offered and subtracting from the total, it may be less.
Either way, very funny quote! The flashing ads are harder than heck to read, and the disclaimer "legal stuff" is in a small, near impossible font, grey toned. Meanwhile the images are about 5 minutes to wait for a complete download. So the disclaimer is not a space problem...
I think I'll bid on these. ($20 shipping don't forget these aren't light.)
