Minnesota only table game that is currently legal is Black Jack with only a single spot per player. They have a table where you could play three hands at once, but that only lasted a week before it was removed. They have a large variety of slot machines, and of course Bingo and Pull tabs. Both poker and roulette are not allowed other then on video machines. There are a few casinos with $1.00 chips, but most as noted above, use tokens at the Black Jack tables.

As cost increase for chip production, the 50c chips which a few casinos used to have have also been replaced. Some casino, like the twin Grand Casinos, now used $2.50 chips, but most just use 50c coins (which technically is against the law, but they do it anyway).

Not much new seems to come out of any of the casinos, with a few LE's every now and then, both chips and tokens. Most casinos don't even change dates on the tokens, just mint more with the old dates. Not very good on the marketing end if you ask me.

Most of the Silver Strikes seem to be disapering as well, with only Black Bear and Mystic Lakes having machines in my last trip around the state. I make it to most of the casinos at least once a year (except for those very northern ones).

Hope the information helps.

John
