Curacao information.

Can't stay too long, but I thought I'd give you all some information about my 7 days in Curacao. Ten casinos are now operating. The Coral Cliff Casino is closed with no further information. New racks at some of the casinos & loads of obsolete chips to add to CT Bob Ginsburg's data base. I think I found the answer to a question that has been posed here & on some other BB's regarding different $5 chips at the same casino. At many of the casinos, 5 colors are used on the roulette table. Each of the colors have their own individual $5 chip which is used to pay off after a win. The reason being is that most of the casinos don't have enough regular roulette chips to continue playing. Most of them use the generic Bud Jones roulettes which go through a sorter under the table. At the Curacao Resort they have 3 different BJ coin inlay chips with no denomination which are used the same as the chips mentioned above. I asked if these chips could be played for $5 at the black jack table & was told that would be fine, except that wins would be paid with regular rack chips & the NCV's returned to the roulette table. I wonder if this is why I have 10 to 12 different $5's from a casino in the Dominican Republic? I'll try to get back with some more information as soon as I get caught up. Does the name "Cellini" sound familiar to anybody? I heard this name mentioned by 3 casino owners & a casino manager.
