With all the Tournament Chip Controversy caused be the removal of Orleans Tourney chips in the Poker World, I am rethinking the wisdom of trying to harvest these chips. For those that have not heard… a well known poker player in was caught removing tournament chips at the Orleans and was banned from there. There has been some talk of banning him from Tournaments in other casino's too. This has been very well publicized in the Poker world, and Poker Rooms are really watching their chips. Of course they are worried about cheating more than chips collectors taking them for their collections. Anyone that loves to play Poker cannot afford to take the chance of being barred from playing tournaments in their "home" casino, and possibly many other tournaments. There is a move to have names published in "Card Player". Kind of a blacklist type thing.
Well enough of the bad stuff. Here is the good news. I have three 3 chip sets of tournament chips from Casino Omaha here in Iowa. A $5, $25, and $100 are included in this set. I have attached a scan to this message. See the bottom of the post. These were taken from a poker tournament a few months back. Removing these chips from the tournament cost me 2 places in the tourney for sure, and maybe more!
I am going to offer these three sets to readers of the board. I will be accepting offers on the 3 sets. I am open to all offers, but will give you the guidelines on the offers that are the most attractive to me.
1. Trades for Deadwood Chips that I do not have in my Collection
2. Good cash offers (surprise, surprise!)
3. Trading for other chips that I need for my collection.
4. Trades for chips that I will use for traders (It will take a lot of these)
Do not hesitate to propose anything, who knows what will happen!
BUT… No Mark, I am not interested in Trading for Fantasy Chips. <G>
Email any and all offers to me at: standard@ncn.net
