Following are the results of the September Cyberauction which concluded September 23 with live bidding on AOL. Following the lot description are the consignor's name and e-mail address, the winning bid, and the successful bidder's name and e-mail address.
13 of the 24 lots were won by e-mail bidders this month!
E-MAIL ADDRESSES ONLY APPEAR ONCE: THE FIRST TIME THE PARTICIPANT IS LISTED. It's now the bidders' responsibility to contact the consignor to arrange for payment and shipping. Unless specified otherwise in the description of the lot, THE BUYER PAYS FOR SHIPPING.

LOT 2: PLAYER'S Grand Opening Chipco, 1993 from Player's in Lake Charles. This casino is about to become Harrah's at the end of 1999. Great looking chip.

LOT 3: CARSON VALLEY INN $100 Chipco. The chip is faded (but very readable) and has a rim nick. This chip is not listed in TCR and is certainly missing from most collections. It was issued for their 10th Anniversary in 1994 but was removed from play at the request of the casino dealers.

LOT 5: HARVEY'S $2.50 chip. Gray/3-Black/3-Pink. Obsolete. There were 2 versions of the chip--with panes and without. TCR #N6781 and N6782. The winner can choose either one. Both have a "G" value.

LOT 6: Attention roulette collectors--5 roulettes from the NUGGET in Sparks. All are worn but the hot stamps a readable. All have 3-Yellow inserts. The colors are: Red, Navy, Fuchsia, Green and Lavender.

LOT 7: Ten Las Vegas $1 chips: current, but in pristine condition, with sharp edges. The one hotstamped chip in the bunch is in near-mint condition. GOLDEN GATE, IMPERIAL PALACE, LADY LUCK (an early Bud Jones chip with traces of black enamel in the coin inlay), LAS VEGAS CLUB, MAXIM, MGM GRAND, NEW YORK NEW YORK, NEW FRONTIER, ORLEANS and WESTWARD HO.

LOT 8: $25 BEVERLEY COUNTY CLUB (New Orleans area) SM-KEY, Lt green with 2 1/4" red inserts. Owned by Frank Costello and Meyer Lansky from 1945 to 1951. Chip condition: used, with sharp edges, good hot stamp, however, it has a small crack at 10 o'clock (1/4" on one side, 1/2" on the other).

LOT 13: HAROLDS CLUB was a Reno institution for 30 years. "Harolds Club or Bust" signs were seen everywhere GI's were stationed around the world during W.W.II. It closed in 1995, but you can own a $1 chip, the coin inlay version introduced when Howard Hughes bought Harolds from the Smith family. TCR #N5121.

LOT 16: Henderson's LIGOURI'S CASINO is closed, but here's one of the most limited edition chips ever issued: the 7 stud, hi-low split chip, numbered 92 of an edition of only 300 chips. TCR #N8698. "H" value.

LOT 17: SAM'S TOWN GOLD RIVER closed in 1991 (it became simply, Gold River when the Boyd Group's license to operate the casino was not renewed), but here's a perfect $1 chip from when it opened in 1984. TCR #N6268.

LOT 21: Here's a pair of unique, nonstandard original tokens from the now-defunct VEGAS WORLD. Very heavy base metal (one a dark lead-like color, the other goldtone), I believe these were used as special play tokens. Very early pieces.
