However, after having initially supported the guy and having maintained (with some difficulty) silence about his admitted sabotage of Steve Brock's eBay auctions, when I became aware of irrefutable proof (his own feedback responses) that he had misled either us or his eBay bidders about another particular, I could no longer maintain my silence. Hence, I posted the initial message asking for his response.

Any reasonable, civil response probably would have ended the issue right there and I consider the donnybrook which followed unfortunate at best.

At this point, I agree that any further discourse with him would serve no useful purpose and I will no longer respond to either his emails or his BB posts. I do intend to pursue a complaint with eBay and, if the result of that contains appropriately newsworthy information, I will post it here.
