Hi Tim. Just trying to be helpful here. The URL I found in your message is this:
http://C:\VSTASCAN\vernon1.JPG
The "http://" is how all web addresses must begin. The rest of it looks like the name of a file on your local hard disk. Unless you are a server connected directly to the internet, there is no way for you to allow pictures stored on your hard drive to be viewed on the web. You must copy the picture to a computer that is on the internet first. My ISP (Internet Service Provider) provides me 5 Meg of disk space for posting my images, web page, whatever. Here's what the address of one of my images looks like:
http://www.greatbasin.net/~sweetie/bftp100_rev.jpg
Greg provides a place to upload images for posting on the board as a service to those of us that don't have our own space. Here's an address of one of Gene's pictures he recently uploaded:

Instructions on how to upload images to the board are at http://www.chipguide.com/fileupload.htm. On this page you DO put in the location and name of the file on your hard disk, and it is copied to Greg's server's computer. Be careful when posting the address of an uploaded image you don't get the "http://" part repeated twice.
I hope this helps. The next best thing is to find a friend on the board who will upload your images for you and email the file to them.
