That is one sad story. Sad, that is, for our hobby. I am not the resident attorney in this club, but I do think something should be done to arrest this sort of action from happening again.

I do believe that the manufacture of these chips should somehow be held liable for producing these fake chips. They are so real looking, that even a collector of chips could be fooled unless of course he was cognizant of "our" Bulletin Board or a member of the CC>CC and was on-line.

I guess the adage still holds true about if it seems too good then.....

What do you think Jim. I'll bet dollars to donuts that this is not the last time were going to hear about such rip offs. This sort of larcony or whatever it's called certainly will not help engender new bodies to our growing hobby. This has got to stop now and only the manafacturer can pull these chips off the shelf and cease production.
