On the subject of posting ananymous vs. real names and emails, let me say that I prefer seeing real names (especially when I know the person) and email addresses (since I occasionally send a response or question directly to the writer's email address). However, I do know others who do not like to post their emails publicly, for fear of having it captured and used for unwanted junk mailings for credit cards, porn offerings, etc., etc. The likelihood of having your email address collected is greater if you participate in higher-profile sites (like Ebay) or other BB's, but it still could be harvested from postings on this BB. Actually, if you wanted to post anonymously with an email, just make up one, or use a hotmail-type address.
If anonymous posters abuse their "privilege" of posting on Greg's board, and/or if identified posters go beyond the norms of this BB, then we readers (collectively) usually say so. However, my personal view is that anonymous postings and/or no addresses are not a problem, per se. It depends on the content of the posting.
(FYI, my fictitious email address above is just to confirm that it can be done. As any frequent reader knows, my real address is pardue@home.com)
