I have been using "quick n' brite" which is a biodegradable cleaner that has been heavily advertised on TV (bought mine at Costco). I use a small amount of the paste with warm water and a soft tooth brush and completely dry them immediately. I have had no ill effects using this method and it really brightens the chips and brings out the colors. Just go easy on the hot stamps tho!
