I believe this was during the period when Chipco had some materials problem. There are "faded" chips from a number of casinos. The rose colored reds from Mole Lake were the first issues. Since it's about 100 miles from nowhere, I don't know if the next batch was really red. The frosty look and colors were not a change, but a manufacturing situation.

Replace the 50c and the $1 with tokens. Horrors!
