Have about twenty of the "Torches" fifty cent chips and notice color intensity differences between the chips also. Some very dark similar to the scan on chipguide, and some appear faded. I had assumed fading due to wear or length of time on tables. BTW a friend who lives near the casino tells me they are replacing the chips with tokens in the near future. They have already done so with the $1 chips.
