Pete, the Paulson retail store is self-service for picking up fantasy chips. The various chips are arranged in open boxes on shelves, and customers can just pick out what they want (1 or more of each). No problem buying an assortment of chips.

If your friend is on a buying spree, you might send him to Gambler's General Store too, on Main St. near downtown LV. They have even more fantasy chips (not H&C, of course, but other molds).
