Re: BOB MERA How to link to ebay

Maybe this will help some people figure out how to put an Ebay link in the box at the bottom of the message on the BB. The secret is finding out the address. Iam sure there are other ways but it works for me.

If using AOL:
I learned on AOL which seems easier to figure things out for me. When looking at the ebay Item, if you are in the smaller display mode a red heart will appear in the upper right hand section of the tool bar. If you do not see a small red heart; click on the 2 little squares next to the "x" in the box up in the tool bar. This shoud reduce your picture size and give you a red heart. I do not know why this works this way. Click on the red heart and store the address in your favorite places.

Now if you normally do not have your favorite places displayed on the screen select Favorite places from the top tool bar on AOL. It looks like a letter with a heart in it. Click on the top line which says Favorite places. This makes your favorite places appear on your screen. At the bottom of that screen is "GO NEW EDIT DELETE" choices. By looking at the edit on the favorite place of the stored ebay address you can cut and paste it into the BB area.

If not using AOL:
I just send the ebay item to a friend feature (sending it to myself) and it sends a notice and has the address spelled out in the email which I can cut and paste. I have the html code turned off in my emails so it doesnt give me a clickable link. Someone said this is safer for security reasons. Boy that way sure looked easier. <G>

I know this sounds confusing to many, but it is difficult trying to write how to do this stuff. Maybe Larry or Don can help out.
