Hi All
The next AC Chapter Meeting will be held this weekend at the Showboat
Hotel & Casino. September 26th in the Mississippi Room starting with
our usual swap session. We will conduct a club auction by Bruce Landau.
All proceeds from this auction will be donated to help Bob Mera with
his medical expenses.With all the problems and bickering-when there is
a crisis the people in this club will join together to help each other.
The responce by the membership has been overwhelming. We have received
many,many checks and auction lots. Many members said put Meras name on
the ticket so he has a chance to win the whole thing. Many have made very
significant cash donations to be given to Bob. The Southern Cal Chapter,
ran a 50/50 at its last meeting and donated the clubs share to Bob.
Jim Sarra who won the raffle generously gave his entire winnings to
Bob.We will have a great meeting and I hope the East matches the West
in its support to help. I will bet the turnout will be teriffic.
I received an Email from David Sarles that he will be at our meeting and that
he will be a speaker and answer as many questions as possible.
Now is the time for all club members to book a Sunday flight to AC.
