I thought we already had the thread where the only camera to buy is a Sony Mavica. This camera stores the pictures on a 20¢ floppy disk. You just pop the disk into your computer and print the picture. For new people to this discussion, I can not stress that in 95% of uses this is the only type of camera to buy.
