Also, the characterization of this chip as a "roulette" was mine, NOT Eastman's. He simply shows the chip in his book. It is NOT labelled a roulette, nor does he refer to it as a roulette. I called it that because that's what it looks like.
On the other hand, the question of what was a California club doing with roulette chips is a good one. Roulette was not then legal in CA; nor is it now. ----- jim o\-S
