... isn't easy, though I do much the same as you, Don. I have certain key word searches bookmarked (e.g., for specific casinos in which I am interested, Bond chips, "Nazi" chips, etc., as well as some non-chip subjects). I also have more general searches bookmarked (e.g., casino chip*) and have a few categories bookmarked (such as Casino:Chips and Casino:General).
I search my specialty bookmarks every time I go online. I search the broader subjects and eBay categories once a day, if possible.
In one respect, though, I reverse your process. When I search, I look only at the "New" listings. Then, if I find something interesting, I bookmark the individual auction separately and just add it to the end of my bookmark list. That way, I never have to look at any eBay item more than once, unless I want to. I organize the bookmarks for the individual auctions in order of ending date/time, with the soonest to close at the top.
That way, I can always just go to that list, check what's ending that day and, if I want to bid, click on the bookmark.
I have found that this reduces the amount of time I have to spend scrolling through lists of eBay items. And, with all of the specialty searches I have bookmarked, I rarely miss anything in which I might be interested.
