The Chip with AH on it is from Howard Air Force Base located on the West Bank of the Canal and was reached by the way of the Bridge of the Americans. It was the center for all command flying operations, including logistic support flights, for the U.S. Military Missions throughtout Latin America. The base opened just before the out break of World War II.
The Chip with GTC on it is from Grafenswehr Training Center, located i Bavaria, Germany. This was a Sevent Army Training Center that the 370th and 371st Infantry Regiments trained at begining in 1947.
The Chips with SPRANG on them are from Spangdahlem Air Base, also known as Eiffel-Rest, and hosted a TAC Fighter Wing. It is located about 10 miles sout of Bitburg.
And finally, the chips with TAB on them are from Tachikawa Air Base located near Fuchu Japan. I will be adding this information to my web site later today.
