... 8 games for each team, regardless of when they are actually played. The Packers won't be the only team with a bye by the 8th week. There's no reason I can see why the first half can't just be the first 8 games for each team; the 2nd half games 9-16 for each team. Could mean some of us have two teams playing the same weekend at the middle of the season <g>, but wouldn't effect the results.
