Ah some good news for a change. I've seen the "quarter" machines and at a show I tried playing with US coin and it wouldn't take it. Is the adjustment difficult? I see these machines for around $400 now as the market was flooded with them.
My only slot is a Mills Vest Pocket (nickel of course) and I've been trying to find a quarter and dime version. I figure they would make nice piggy banks, and maybe even take in some profit at a house party. LOL
That reminds me of my neighbor Emmitt. His Son found a machine in the barn when he bought an old farm. Perfect working quarter slot from the 50's. One day Emmitt (who always has some scam to make money) is having a cook out, and he wheels the slot out to the garage and fills it with quarters. Within a half hour, two people hit jackpots and it was tapped dry. He pulled the plug and said, no more playing it. (I fugure he just couldn't hang on for the long run or he would have won)
But so much for another Emmitt sceme. This is the guy who owned six greyhounds and told us about how much he would make. [earplugs are required when he's spawning these scams]
So much for slots for home play only! If video poker machines were not so expensive I'd have a few in the basement bar, and I know my friends would vist more often. <G>
