I have taken one of my Riverside Silver Strikes apart. However it isn't exactly the same token you have pictured on your auction which is listed in my guide as RILA-3, the one I have pictured here is RILA-3a, a redesign of Mr Laughlin, this one has a part in his hair(a newer token, but issued the same year). I use this one as the center piece was very loose and came apart easily... Some tokens have better tolerances and don't come apart easily but WILL.

I scaned the token first front and back then took it apart and scand the front and backs, and here's the results... Just to show you that these tokens are NOT SOLID.

I just hope I've convinced you about the true construction of these tokens.
