I hope I am not beating a dead horse, but Katie raise a passion with me, with her Boreland question.
Scan is 2 notched chips from Lucky Club, Henderson Nv 1962-73.
The $5 is in TCR as a real chip. The $25 is in TCR as a Boreland chip.
Question: Why would Boreland make notched samples of counterfit chips? Why would Boreland make counterfit Non-Negotiable chips?
Notched samples are made for gaming approval and to be used for salesman sample chips. I believe both of these chips to be real chips.
Authors of TCR have done wonders, but they have to be suspect of all Nevada and DiCard mold chips. I do not blame them. Another example of the harm Boreland has done. They just do not know for sure.
When I get a chance I will have the BJ files searched for the dies to these 2 chips.
Someday maybe BJ will release the records on Nevada and DiCard molds. This is the only way we will ever be sure of some of them.
