The Tropicana Resort & Casino is pleased to announce the newest and most exciting addition to its property, the Casino Legends Hall of Fame, set to open in january 1999. The Casino Legends Hall of Fame houses largest and most unique collection of Nevada gaming memorabilia ever assembl;ed, celebrating the legends that made Las Vegas teh gaming and entertainment capital of the world.
The Casino Legends Hall of Fame displays artifacts from casinos that have been closed for decades to the mega resorts of today. More than 738 Casinos are represented in the museum, 550 of which no longer exist. The collection includes hundreds of framded historical photographs and documents adorning the walls as well as other rare antiques from the state's gaming history. One can trace the evolution of Nevada gaming from its legalized inception in 1931 through the present day. More than 10,000 items will be displayed in approximately 5000 sq feet of space.

Chip collecting is one of the fastes growing hobbies of our time. The casino legends hall of fame houses the largest Nevada Chip collection in existence. There are more than 8000 different gaming chips in denominations from $0.01 through $100,000.
As Las Vegas continues to re-invent itself, the tropicana is one of the city's original properties still in existence today. The Casino Legends Hall of Fame is set to open in January 1999. General Admission for individuals 18 and over will be $4.00 per person and $3,.00 for senior.
