The Santees have been fighting Nebraska "City Hall" for a number of years--much like the Florida tribes. I used to live 150 feet above the reservation plus a mile or so of the big muddy Missouir in Springfield, South Dakota. The Santees have an interesting history in terms of their general peacefulness and a long history of being screwed over by their "Great White Father."
