The Redwood Lodge auctions were cancelled prox. 1 hour before closing. All bids withdrawn by seller "hold-em". The $1 chips had 2-3 bids on it (at $3.25, I think) and the $5 and $25 had no action at all.

It turns out that he ordered a 1,000 chip set from Paul-son. Gene T. related some email exchanges, in which the seller claimed the club was to be more like a private club (like Elks or Lions club chips??), not a regular card club. Still sounded dubious to me. Paul-son was supportive of chippers when they heard about this from Gene.

I assume the thread can be accessed in the archives, though I haven't tried.
