I spent a few hours at Coushatta last night and finally came to the realization that Dave knows a lot more about these new chips than anyone at the casino ( or is willing to share). One pit boss even told me they were tokens that would be distributed at the Grand Advantage Players desk - I didn't have the heart to tell him he didn't have a clue so I just thanked him and walked on. The only fact that was consistent, was that they will not sell chips at the cashiers cage. One seemingly knowedgable gent working one of the cashier cages said he was pretty sure they wouldn't be distributed before 9/9, but that doesn't make much sense not to have them available for the Labor Day weekend crowd. I'll go over next Friday, 9/3 and see if they're out.
