The Chip-In-Casino is in Harris Michigan, about 13 miles west of Escanaba, or about 2 1/2 hours west of the Mackinaw Bridge in the upper peninsula. They have been building a 113 room hotel complex that will include 2 restaurants, bingo hall, indoor pool with heated sand & a completely new gaming area. Along with these changes come a tropical theme and name, Chip-Ins Island Resort & Casino. The grand opening is set for December 16th.

The Leelanau Sands Casino in Peshawbestown, Michigan, near Traverse City will also be changing its name. The Traverse Bay Casino & Resorts Will beits new heading. Also, that comes with a brand new rack of chips that will include $1.00, $2.50, $5.00 & $25.00.
